DOROTHY WELLES, Mystery Author

Dorothy Welles is the pen name of a raconteur on the move. She hovers between New York, Samara, and Reykjavik carried along by a morbid imagination and the memory of her beloved Shih-tzu, Janeway.

Welles is a former VP and current member of Sisters in Crime NY (NY Tri-State SinC),  a member of Crime Writers of Color (CWoC), and (as J. Szathmari) has served on the Board of Control for the Arts Students League of New York. Her writing is informed by her training in theatre, urban planning, education and her skeptical nature.
